with kingdoms spread so far apart, and with busy lives, it is understandable that letters are an efficient way to communicate.

the king and queen's throne's are up on a stage, surrounded by rich blue velvet and silver ribbon, and people are free to mill around them, or address issues before them. they are very busy however, and the likelihood of actually finding either monarch there is currently very difficult.

where most of the royal balls are held, and some more interesting events. this is usually where most of the ladies go to find their "knight in shining armor" and everyone has to go to get dancing lessons. not the pages favorite class as you can well imagine.

usually reserved for when the big feasts are, this room is situated with the hugest table one has ever seen, two tables length wide, and a good twenty long. at the head are two seats for the king and queen, showing them on an equal footing with each other.

one of the largest libraries in the realm, and certainly the easiest to get lost in as well as hide from other people. here you can find not only knowledge on the city of corus going back to the time of it's creation, but almost all the documents on most of the realm.

where the pages learn from the scholars of the nation. professors from all over the world are here at your disposal to make sure you do well in all topics ranging from tortallan history to magic. remember that your studies are required pages.

where mostly everyone in the castle besides the royals and nobles eat, even though occasionally even king jonathon himself will come down and eat with his people and say a word or two. it is run quite similarly to a cafeteria, but the food is always of the best quality. only the best for the kingdom's future, right?

mouth-watering aromas drift from the kitchens, situated close to the squire and page mess hall. the palace servants can often be found down in the kitchens, preparing the next meal for the palace inhabitants. the kitchens are kept spotless, only the best for those living in the royal palace.

this is where the knights, pages, and squires live. knights live in quarters with a study, bedroom, and a bathroom. they always have a second room right next to them where their squire lives with their own bathroom. otherwise, all the squires and pages live in their own rooms with bathrooms attached. please keep things neat and tidy, the servants do not have time to do it for you.

this is where the queen's riders inhabit. in their little section of they each have large rooms with a good sized bathroom attached. they are also reminded to keep their own area neat and tidy, for the servants do not have time for them either. everyone must pull their own weight.

as it is only accessible from outside the castle, this is the only actual part of the castle that is considered part of the grounds. it is the biggest and oldest tower, and it is only used when having to survey the land around corus. there is a staircase that winds around it which is very dangerous and old, and it is not suggested that you take it. please use with caution.

situated pretty closely to the stables, this is where one comes to practice and get to know your horse. one should be friends with their horse, for it ensures survival in a battle. also, this is where the jousting matches take place, definitely a thing worth seeing, and something you really want to know your horse in order to do.

where the beautiful and well kept horses are kept. these horses are the smartest horses in the realm, mainly because of the fact a certain wild mage makes her home in corus, but it makes for the best kept stable in the entirety of tortall. could help a bit that the stable boy has a bit of horse magic.

this district is one of the places that was obviously made to impress. it's kept spotless, and all the richer people and the merchants live and keep their expenses here.

this district is for the richer part of corus. even the princesses and the queen herself comes to roam it's streets at times. only the finest of merchandise is sold here, and everyone is meant to be very civil and well behaved, as well as being very clean.

this is where most people in the city live. there are rows upon rows of houses that do get worse and shabbier looking the farther you get away from the castle. the people also get poorer the farther you get.

one of the smallest districts in corus, it doesn't hold much things of interest, just some small shops and closed workshops. it has some warehouses, but generally this only visited by some people traveling through for it's well known inn.

the most busy, and oddly the most well known part of corus besides the palace, this place never sleeps, and is the second largest part of the city. even the nobles love to dress down and make their way into it's rogue riddled streets. it is also home to the famous dancing dove, where a certain court is held.

this district is home to all the very intelligent and magical scholars of tortall. here is the huge university, and the huge building take up most of the outer rim of the city. it is actually comes with a heavy warning, as sometimes the magical students do something wrong, and the entire district has some unusual problems to live with.

inhabited by clans and ruled by a "council of ten" and any king that seizes power on what is called the bloody throne, scanra is the enemy of tortall and land of the blond and blue-eyed. the land is wild, rocky and cold, and only very little of it can be farmed, and the scanran people are known for being masters of the sea and feared pirates. they both raid by water and by land, so... watch it!

ah, the beautiful galla. this place is best known for it's immense forests, it's colossal mountains, and it's very very old royal blood line, centuries old and still running. galla is currently at peace with tortall.

Sub-board: CRIA ,

the smallest and least significant realm in the entirety of the realms, tusaine is in a forced peace with tortall. if they break that forced peace, tortall will destroy them. this is well known.

this is a merchant republic, mostly surrounded by swamp lands. it heavily relies on the trading community to survive. for this very reason, they are a useful ally for tortall. they provide good strong men who have grown up in the worst places for war, while tortall provides a steady stream of goods.

the vacation spot for all tortallans! culturally, maren is similar to tortall and the other eastern lands. however, there are also distinguishing features of the kingdom. thus the food in maren is spicier and its architecture, interior design and clothes use brighter colours. the people are much more into a sexual culture, they are really not afraid to show lots of skin, and it has recently become popular to sell perfume, so expect to smell fabulous at all times.

the closest place to the roof of the world, where no one dares go to wander through, at least that's we're taught to believe. this land is a peaceful place ran by both it's inhabitants, the eastern people and the k'miri, it's original inhabitants.

this is an ancient and powerful slaveholding empire to the south of the inland sea. a colonial empire, it's comprised of many conquered countries in the southern lands and up to the roof of the world. The ruling family is the iliniats. this realm is known for its university; a storehouse of learning, sophistication, and culture.

i think i speak for all the admins when i say we simply love games. they are the best thing in the world and they're fun fun fun when you are waiting for someone to post. seriously, come in and astound us with your witty ways of embarrassing the crap out of characters.

we aren't all as amazing as the wonderful nick-eh ?! when it comes to graphics. i know i'm not, i have to steal mine aren't horrible. but if you are more noble then me you are welcome to come and ask for someone to make you some graphics. make some requests my dears! or heck, display your art! we love art!
